Proctor Mountain Group was founded in 2022 by Aaron Hill. Our mission is to provide our friends/clients authentic and highly personalized service in real estate through experience, honesty and hard work grounded in a love of this mountain community. We strive to help people make complex, highly personal and emotional decisions in real estate.
We are fans and followers of the iconic Sun Valley mountain life. “Winter Sports under a Summer Sun” was coined by Steve Hannigan who also named the area “Sun Valley”. Quickly made famous thereafter by the likes of Gary Cooper, Averil Harriman and most notably Ernest Hemingway. Ernest returned frequently to hunt, fish and write after his first visit to Sun Valley in the fall of 1939. Three years prior, the world’s first chairlift was built on Proctor Mountain by the Union Pacific Railroad. Today the chairlift on nearby Ruud Mountain still stands for visitors to enjoy while hiking the same hills Hemmingway explored. This history has left a depth of significance on those lucky folks that call the valley home. To know Proctor Mountain is to know how special our life is in these central Idaho hills. The Proctor Mountain Group is here to foster the legacy left by the early Sun Valley pioneers and shepard that legacy into the future.
In 2020, after a 17-year career in commercial real estate in San Diego, CA Aaron moved back home to the Wood River valley. Having grown up in the valley he was excited to be returning with his wife Erika and three daughters Ellie, Gigi and Rosie to rediscover all the valley offers. Aaron loves the outdoors; skiing, river rafting, hunting and fishing. Most of all, he is eager to be a part of the community again that helped develop so much of his values and character and begin helping others with their real estate needs.

Bailey was raised in the Wood River Valley and attended The Community School. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, IA in 2002 and went on to get her BA in interior design at Iowa State University College of Design. Bailey is the Transaction Coordinator for the team and oversees all aspects of buyer & seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to closing. Erika oversees all of the marketing and events for Proctor Mountain Group. She is originally from Portland Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University. She worked in Commercial Real Estate Investment Sales at Secured Capital and Eastdil Secured (a subsidiary of Wells Fargo) where she focused on client relations, business development and administrative activities for a top national sales team who sold over $24B of Class A office and Industrial over the period from 2003-2009.
